Caleb Wilson

Imagine it is the summer before senior year, and a young man, is a star baseball player. Suddenly, all that changes when a friend puts his truck in reverse instead of drive, running over Caleb. The accident left him with severe spinal cord injuries. After months in hospitals and six operations later, Caleb maintains his upbeat attitude. He says the prayers and support of friends and family are the reason for his good spirits. If you met him today, you would see an optimistic, friendly young man in a wheel chair. His senior counselor said, “He has never given up trying to figure out how to live his new life….”

Caleb will attend MTSU and plans to study accounting. While he will have more rehabilitation and, possibly, more surgeries, Caleb is moving towards his academic goal and an independent life.
